This is an exceptionally restored Ford Model A Deluxe Delivery.
The Ford Model A Deluxe Delivery was introduced in 29 by Henry Ford and that year only 6000 Deluxe Delivery examples were built. Today this fine example is found in ‘Better then New Condition’. The recipient of a no holds barred all out total show quality restoration. The owner set out to have the finest Model A Deluxe Delivery in existence and by all indications he succeeded. Finished in factory correct Balsam Green , Black fenders and splash pans and with accenting Vernon green wire wheels. The fit and finish on this all steel example is extraordinary. Interior is fully restored and correct in Colonial grain , individual folding bucket seats, matching door panels and head liner . The rear cargo area is also fully finished in colonial grain upholstery and floor is finished wood with metal slats. Engine and mechanics have been fully rebuilt and engine bay is correctly and highly detailed. The undercarriage on this example is as fine as the top side. Complete with many correct and scarce items including original Houdaille shock absorbers,, Spartan aoogah horn, an original rearview mirror with clock, chromed grill guard , nickel plated radiator and fuel cap, Boyce Moto Meter winged radiator cap and correct Zenith carburetor. This Model A is truly the ‘Best of the Best’ of one of the rarest and most sought after body styles . A must own for the true early Ford Collector.
